When our mom went on hospice in the hospital, it was what we perceived as hospice, the more classical definition as something that you engage in the final days or minutes.  Through our dad and LoveWell we came to find out that "hospice" was so much more than that.

From the first moments when we met Marie and Gary during the initial interview we knew we had found the right partners for this portion of our family's journey.    Hospice is a scary word, especially with our previous experience, it means the end is imminent.  While it does mean you are shifting into a different phase of life, with the right support team they can help plan for a softer landing.

The partnership that a high-quality hospice provider like LoveWell provides helps in so many ways.  They provide an additional team of caring individuals that do so much more than assist in the waning hours.

Owners Marie and Gary were only a phone call away.  Chaplin Kwon's visits leading up to dad's final days provided an additional level of comfort for him.  The dedication of the LoveWell team really shined through when dad's nurse, Christie who saw him on a weekly basis, came by the day before the birth of her child.  She "knew" she had more time before she would go into labor and "knew" that dad didn't have that much time remaining.  She came by one more time, the day before she went into labor and dad passed.   She was also was just a phone or text away.

During the final day and hours LoveWell shepherded dad home in the most compassionate way, supporting him and us throughout the entire process.

From our very first interaction, Lovewell Hospice has shown an unwavering commitment to providing top-notch care from meeting with Carla to having compassionate care from Marie. Their staff is exceptionally attentive to the unique needs of our residents. The communication from their team is prompt and clear, ensuring that any concerns or needs are addressed swiftly and effectively.

What truly sets Lovewell Hospice apart, however, is their genuine personalized care. I truly appreciate the effort they put it from celebrating individual birthdays to hanging curtains in my resident's room. I had no experience with hospice care prior to my Mom’s need for hospice.  I cannot imagine a better experience than the one we had with Lovewell.  The Lovewell team was caring, beyond attentive, timely, communicative, trustworthy and they absolutely made an awful situation that no one wants to go through the most dignified and loving experience it could be. Our family is so grateful for the attentive and compassionate care that LoveWell Hospice provided in caring for my dad during his last months, weeks and days with us.  His needs in hospice care were met with such compassion, allowing our large family to take comfort in knowing he was experiencing his “best life” in light of his decline and the physical limitations he was enduring. I can not say enough wonderful things about Lovewell hospice!
This was our 1st experience with hospice. Everyone with this company was so understanding and compassionate. Marie, the nurse was incredible! She truly was given a gift of caring for our loved ones. She is one of a kind with heart of gold.
They continue to reach out and make sure we are still doing ok and if they can do anything for us. And they remember our loved one even after his passing. Which is just  wonderful to our families.
I recommend Lovewell Hospice. The name says it all. They will love well.
