LoveWell Hospice has many volunteer opportunities to serve hospice patients and families with caring and compassion. There are also ways to serve the community and in our office. We love our volunteers and appreciate them as integral team members of our organization. See below for more information and how to apply.

Types of Volunteers

What is required to be a volunteer?

All volunteers are required to fill out paperwork, do a TB test, and go through hospice training with the volunteer coordinator.

LoveWell Hospice’s training prepares volunteers for the challenges of working with terminally ill patients and their families. Topics include:

Volunteer Selection

We carefully review all applications and select candidates based on their qualifications and our current volunteer needs. After submitting your application, our volunteer coordinator will contact you for a phone interview to get to know you better and discuss your interests and availability.
All volunteers will be required to complete a TB skin test and a background check as part of our standard health and safety procedures.
